The TGA has issued a cyber-security warning to Australian pharma and other healthcare delivery organisations in response to vulnerabilities in the widespread Log4j software.
The vulnerability allows hackers to execute malicious code remotely, and there is "currently widespread and active malicious exploitation of this vulnerability across multiple industries", according to the TGA, which took the unusual step of issuing its own warning in addition to that provided by the Australian Cyber Security Centre (ACSC).
