About the opportunity

This role plays a crucial role in the medical affairs, development, and business unit brand team, contributing to strategic planning to support launch and commercialization activities. In this role you will focus on meeting patients' needs and enhancing customers' experiences.


Duties

• Provide expert scientific and clinical support to the local business, enhancing customer interactions.

• Support local marketed product strategies, regulatory affairs, reimbursement, and scientific data dissemination.

• Support clinical trial execution, ensuring compliance with GCPs, local laws, and regulations.

• Liaise with internal colleagues on clinical planning, being the medical representative for the development of clinical strategies, development plans, clinical trial feasibilities and study protocol design.

• Develop and maintain relationships with external scientific experts and thought leaders.

• Work cross collaboratively with internal teams to support pre and post launch activities.

• Stay updated with medical and scientific developments relevant to the product.

Skills and Experience

• At least 7 years’ experience within the pharmaceutical industry within Australia

• Expertise within Oncology

• Excellent knowledge of Australian pharmaceutical industry guidelines, regulatory and reimbursement frameworks, and clinical research guidelines

• Clinical trial/ clinical development experience

• Strong ability to clearly communicate your scientific understanding to a large audience varying from physicians to patients to internal colleagues
