Cancer deaths strike new low

Cancer mortality rate in Australia is expected to reach "a new low" by the end of 2021, according to a new report released by the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare (AIHW) today (Wednesday).

Estimates presented in the report, 'Cancer in Australia 2021', are based on actual data up to the end of 2017 and don't consider the potential health service disruptions due to COVID.
