The Leukaemia Foundation is launching Set The Standard, the biggest campaign in its history in a bid to end the postcode lottery when it comes to surviving blood cancer.
The foundation says there is a 13 per cent disparity in survival outcomes for blood cancer based on where a person lives, and people outside of metropolitan areas are 37 per cent less likely to receive treatment that complies with current guidelines.
