The former export manager of pharmaceutical ingredient company Alkaloids of Australia, Christopher Kenneth Joyce, pleaded guilty to criminal cartel conduct in Sydney's Downing Centre Local Court today.
Joyce and Alkaloids of Australia was charged last December with price fixing and rigging supply bids for SNBB (scopolamine N-butylbromide), an active pharmaceutical ingredient in antispasmodic medications manufactured from a native Australia plant.
