The TGA has come under scathing attack for allegedly failing to make public post-market drug safety information issued by pharma companies with experts warning "many rare, serious harmful effects" are only discovered once a medicine is on the market.
In a no-holds barred letter to the Internal Medicine Journal, a team of researchers led by prominent pharma critic Associate Professor Barbara Mintzes said so-called 'Dear Healthcare Professional Communications' (DHPC) should be accessible to the Australian public and posted on the TGA website.
