New boss for Cell Therapies

Cell Therapies, the local maker of Novartis CAR-T therapy Kymriah, has announced the appointment of health industry veteran Peter Giannopoulos as CEO, to lead an "exciting phase of growth and development" for the company.

Giannopoulos will leave Ramsay Health Care, where he has worked for almost 14 years - more than seven as CEO of the Ramsay Pharmacy Group - to take up his new role from June.
