Meds sovereignty breakthrough

An Australian project using trail-blazing flow chemistry technology may pave the way for large scale local manufacture of essential treatments if successful, according to its backers.

Melbourne-based Boron Molecular and the former Defence Material Technology Centre, now simply DMTC Ltd, in conjunction with the CSIRO are involved in a close to three-year-long project hoping to up scale one specific therapy using the technology so it is commercially viable.
