Job satisfaction hits gender bump

Men and women in pharma may be on different career tracks or at least regard their jobs differently the 2021 Pharma in Focus Job Satisfaction Survey shows.

In 2018, when the survey was last done, men had an overall job satisfaction rating of 74.8 per cent while women rated their satisfaction at 70.7 per cent. By this year male satisfaction had dropped almost eight percentage points to 67 per cent but women indicated they were more job satisfied, registering 73.6 per cent.
