Cloud over AZ cancer drug

Uncertainty surrounds the bladder cancer indication for AstraZeneca's Imfinzi in Australia after the company withdrew its use in the US earlier this week.

In a global statement on Monday, the company revealed it had decided to "voluntarily" withdraw Imfinzi's indication for previously treated locally advanced or metastatic bladder cancer after a pivotal trial did not meet its primary endpoints in the US.
