MSD has boosted its parental leave policy recognising that mums and dads come "in all shapes and sizes" and helping them to strike a better balance between work and home makes smart business sense.
Under the changes, the company has scrapped the traditional 12-month waiting period for parental leave, stretched the time employees can take leave until their child turns two and made leave 'caregiver status neutral' to include surrogacy, adoption and other caring arrangements.
