Biogen takes out the garbage

It was a team building exercise with a sparkling view - and a big difference - when Biogen's managing director Kylie Bromley and her external affairs and policy crew took to Sydney Harbour in kayaks to collect rubbish as part of the company's volunteering program.

Biogen provides its employees with two days a year to take part in a range of volunteering opportunities as part of its Caring Deeply program. As well, employees can earn "community currency" for the hours they volunteer which is converted to a monetary donation for eligible charitable organisations.
