BeiGene is set to open an office in Sydney later this year after rapidly growing its local presence over the last five years to create one of Australia's largest clinical operations teams.

Founded in 2010 by American entrepreneur John V. Oyler who serves as the company's CEO and Chinese scientist Xiaodong Wang who serves as chairman of the scientfic advisory board, BeiGene now has over 5,200 employees globally with offices in the US, China and Europe.
