Death knell for in-office work

Only one in five employees say working from a centralised office is most conducive to their productivity - sounding the death knell for a full-time return to the office even if COVID-19 can be controlled by a vaccine next year.

According to a survey of 2557 professionals, 61 per cent said they believed a hybrid working model - consisting of a combination of remote working and office-based working - was the most productive. The remaining 18 per cent said exclusive remote working was best.
