Pfizer jobs go in plant shutdown

Pfizer today announced jobs will be slashed from the 470-strong workforce at its Perth manufacturing facility, following a decision to shut down the plant as a result of a comprehensive evaluation of the company's global manufacturing business.

"The difficult decision to cease manufacturing in Perth will result in a loss of jobs for Perth manufacturing colleagues," a Pfizer spokesperson confirmed today.
