Hunt puts brakes on spending

Health Minister Greg Hunt spent $165,000 less of taxpayers' money between April and June, compared to the same time last year, according to new parliamentarian expenditure figures.

The annual fall in spending of almost 52 per cent for the second quarter of this year coincided with the peak of the first wave of the COVID-19 pandemic when borders were closed and much of the country went into lockdown.
