Merger done, Arrotex arrives

Arrow and Apotex say their merger is complete after announcing the gigantic move 14 months ago.

The new business, which will be called Arrotex, is being headed up by Dennis Bastas as chairman and CEO.

Along with Apotex (Canada), Bastas is also a joint equity partner in the new business after Strides Pharma sold its interest in Arrow to him in January. The Indian company will continue to be Arrotex's largest generic supply partner.
