One prescription drug added

Seqirus was the sole sponsor to register a prescription drug on the ARTG over the last week with the TGA ticking its eye drop treatment for patients with dry eyes.

The registration of Ikervis makes Seqirus the second company to register active ingredient ciclosporin for the indication following Sun Pharma's entry of Cequa earlier this year.

Novartis also has products containing ciclosporin that are used as an immunosuppressive agent following transplantation and inflammatory diseases. Neoral and Sandimmun are PBS listed.
